I am creating these "Yoga Extras" blog posts for those of you resonating with the public yoga classes & Yoga Teacher Trainings I am leading. Inside of these blog posts you will find extra resources that support our weekly class theme. The weekly classes I guide are themed according to the season & collective energetic "weather"--This is of course influenced by many things; for instance, not only national and global events but how masses of people are feeling about and reacting to those events. It is also influenced by space weather (see spaceweather.com) & the current movement/placement of celestial bodies ie: the sun, moon, planets, nodes, stars, etc. You can find me teaching currently at Black Swan Yoga (North-Anderson) in Austin, TX. Many Great Poets are considered prophets of universal Wisdom/Truth. Poetry may seem flowery/hippy-dippy to some, the sentiments within the writing woo woo or trite. I would, however, invite anyone resonating with such thoughts to attempt to apply the wisdom to their own lives. You may find that it is not so easy. And should you actually be able to "truly like the company you keep in the empty moments," tell me your life hasn't improved significantly.
We are in an intense historical moment of mass awakening, where all that is built on illusion, lies, false beliefs, anything that is not resonating at the frequency of love, is failing. It must slough off like old dead skin cells for the new to be born. This may be a frightening time for many watching larger external systems such as the government and financial fail. Again, fail they must. True power and safety cannot come from external sources, only internal. Spiritual wisdom can be tough for many to swallow, but once we get a taste of what is Real and True we will wonder how we ever lived inside such toxicity for as long as we had. Some of the best advice I've heard when inside of such moments: breath deeply into your belly, do your best to stay relaxed & in the words of Abraham Hicks: "Nothing serious is going on here." All is happening according to divine, intelligent plan.
