QUALIFICATIONS

Erika Kluthe is a doctoral student in Natural Medicine & Consciousness Studies. She holds a Master’s of Fine Arts Degree in Creative Writing with secondary graduate studies in psychology and art history. Before diving into the world of yoga and meditation, Erika taught college level poetry and writing classes; her love of language continues to infuse her work. She has completed over 600 hours of basic yoga teacher training and 300 hours of advanced training and is a Dharma Yoga Certified Instructor. She was privately trained as a Yoga Therapist by Dr. Colette Zygmont in Austin, Texas in 2014. Erika teaches group classes at Dharma Yoga and Sukha Yoga where she has also held a regular faculty position in the 200 & 300 hour Teacher Training Programs since the studio's opening in 2014. Erika is a practitioner of Craniosacral Therapy, and is a Channeled Light Healing Reiki Master.  She was taught by as well as works with spiritual teacher and medium, Alyssa Malehorn. Erika is currently studying with Alyssa, training in lightwork and spiritual partnership. In addition to group yoga classes, Erika offers private lessons, teaches at festivals in places like Austin and New York, and leads international retreats to locations including Guatemala, Bali, Peru, Mexico and Nepal.
