I am creating these "Yoga Extras" blog posts for those of you resonating with the public yoga classes & Yoga Teacher Trainings I am leading. Inside of these blog posts you will find extra resources that support our weekly class theme. The weekly classes I guide are themed according to the season & collective energetic "weather"--This is of course influenced by many things; for instance, not only national and global events but how masses of people are feeling about and reacting to those events. It is also influenced by space weather (see spaceweather.com) & the current movement/placement of celestial bodies ie: the sun, moon, planets, nodes, stars, etc. You can find me teaching currently at Black Swan Yoga (North-Anderson) in Austin, TX. Physical Focus (Peak Pose): This week is a full body practice with a focus on opening the heart. Peak: Bridge/Wheel
Philosophical : Love is the frequency of the vibration of all that is/the universe/nature. We translate it with our physical senses as feeling. Pure white light is the same thing/information as Love though we are translating that information through our eyes & interpret that with physical sight. If we were to translate that same energy into sound it would be expressed as 528 hz. That whole "Love & Light" thing we hear about in yoga classes can sound so trite and wu to me sometimes, but should you find yourself in an expanded state (high frequency/vibration) of consciousness as I myself did this past week at an advanced breathwork and meditation retreat, that statement became a lived Reality that just about brought me down onto my knees. A statement of High Truth. & it's one that cannot be described. It must be felt. Experienced. The hope I have for every class I guide is the same: may all elements of this class be in service to helping lift the consciousness of this group so that at least one person FEELS the Truth. Perhaps have an "aha," & begin to live their life into that Truth.
I literally just got home last night and am doing my best to get as much into this blog as I can. Whatever I can't get in this week, I will continue to put in as the weeks roll by.
